Ms. Siddoway

Hello My Name Is...

Kamie R. Siddoway

ferret

I am originally from a small mountain town named Kamas near Park City, Utah. In 1994 I was recruited to play basketball at Colorado State University where we played Stanford University in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. After receiving my undergraduate degree in 1997 I traveled to Denmark where I played professional basketball. While there, I coached a group of inner city teens and refugees, this is where I found my inspiration to become an educator. Afterwards, I attended the University of Colorado at Greeley and earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education. My 23 years of teaching experience includes a wide variety of trainings across multiple content areas and social emotional domains. I teach the whole child, foster a love of learning, use data to drive instruction and create a collaborative community with students, families and staff. I enjoy volunteering for after school activities, such as Girls on the Run. My hobbies include reading, mountain biking, yoga, pickle ball and animals. Life is a great adventure!
