Ms. Siddoway

Hello My Name Is...

Kamie R. Siddoway

ferret

I am originally from a small mountain town near Park City, Utah named Kamas. In 1994 I was recruited to get my degree and play basketball at Colorado State University. We played Stanford University in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. After receiving my undergraduate degree in 1997 I traveled to Denmark where I played professional basketball. While there, I coached a group of inner city teens and refugees, this is where I found my inspiration to become an educator. Afterwards, I attended the University of Colorado at Greeley and earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education. My 23 years of teaching experience includes a wide variety of trainings across multiple content areas and social emotional domains. I teach the whole child, foster a love of learning, use data to drive instruction and create a collaborative community with students, families and staff. I enjoy volunteering for after school activities, such as Girls on the Run. My hobbies include reading, riding my Harley, mountain biking, yoga, pickle ball and animals. Life is a great adventure!
